“Babai” promises to take advantage  of “Dana's brown privilege” and recoup Michael Chandler for all the sins of the UFC.

Last year, Tony Ferguson broke the internet with his "Dana White privilege" (a reference to the phrase "white privilege", which refers to the advantage of some groups of people over others, aka racism), when commenting on the withdrawal of Michael Chandler to a title fight after a single fight in UFC.

At yesterday's press conference, it turned out that Tony himself was not funny then and not funny now. Ferguson enters the fight with Chandler under a huge load of frustration - years later, Tony suddenly realized that he was just being used, and could be written off at any moment.

“I don't find it funny. Everyone laughed then, but no one said a word. Now I'm the Dana Brown privilege guy here, I suppose, or whatever you want to call it. I don't find it funny anymore. And I do not advise you to have much fun about this. I'm taking this weekend very seriously, I'm going to kick Dana White's boy's ass."

“That's why I didn't give any interviews. That is why I was silent for a long time. Many fighters now keep their mouths shut. You should talk to other fighters who are treated like crap, I'm not the only one who sees this and talks about it. So maybe you should talk to the others?"

Tony believes that the UFC and personally Dana White behave like real drug dealers who lure you into their networks with handouts, and then completely control your life:

“Personally, I think we are underpaid. I asked Dana to let me box - he refused me. Why? I want to play baseball. I want to compete in other sports. I am an athlete, I grew up doing different disciplines at a high level ... I want to do a lot of things, but in front of me is a guy who acts like a drug dealer, saying that I cannot do something else. I want to earn more money for my family.”

“Promoters here sometimes behave like drug dealers. They throw a couple of bucks in your direction and say, “Come on, kid. Come on, come on, come on. Take it. Take it, take it, don't be shy." And if you don't have the strength to say "no" to this stupid shit, then you will be fucked. I saw them do it with Terrence McKinney and a couple of other guys. Even I had to refuse them a couple of times. Once, during the pandemic, I simply ignored Dana's call. I'm chilling, man. I skate. Do you know why? Because you didn't answer my call.

Not the best attitude to fight Chandler, even though White had already promised not to fire the loser in this fight. Tony is crushed by the realization that he is being used for next to nothing, he is underpaid, he has been given a ride in a title fight. But where was this “everything understanding” Ferguson before, for example, when he was leaked to Justin Gaethje ? I drove weight 2 times in a month and danced to someone else's tune for the sake of my madness, or ego, or rather, both.
